Girls Gathering (GG) Full page 2009 -2010

Girls Gathering is a place where 4th & 5th grade girls gather for food, fellowship and to explore God’s Word.  As group, we share life together, pray for and encourage one another at church, school and extracurricular activities.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-11

“… So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you'll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you're already doing this; just keep on doing it.”

Comments from some of the parents…

“This was my daughter’s first real opportunity to be part of a meaningful small group of girls who could share their faith and concerns with others.  I know for sure that she began to pray for her friends in the group and that she learned to go to God and her friends for support when she needed it.  It was marvelous to watch her grow in her love for God and others.”

“Girls Gathering was a highlight of my daughter’s week.  She feels socially safe and liked there (not always the case at school). “

“My daughter has grown in her faith and also in her understanding of how faith works and helps in the real everyday world.  Girls Gathering got her faith out of Sunday School and into the places that she lives and plays and works every day.”
