Girls' Gathering, for 4th and 5th grade girls, is a safe place to share life, challenges, pray, explore God's Word, and apply God's Word to our daily life.
Following are quotes from our girls in response to the question "What did you like best about Girls' Gathering?"
"That we could tell the truth and know that it would be safe with the friends that you made."
"I liked how we learned about God but not just reading the Bible but in fun ways. Also everybody is so nice."
"I loved the pizza, Sprite, the fire, how we could pray for each other, and how everyone was comfortable talking."
"We can tell anything we want and it is only to the group and it is a lot of fun."
"The overnight."
"We get to pray for each other."
"It's cool to have a safe place to share."
"I like to see how God is answering the other girl's prayers."
Following are quotes from our girls in response to the question, "How as God grown you this year?"
"I like to watch myself make improvements on the weekly "Bible Challenge."
"It has brought me closer to God and makes me a better person, more patient, and kind."
"I'm now listening to my mother and thinking about things before I say them."
"I am getting closer to God."
"God has made me a lot more kind to and helpful to my mom. My friends have told me that I am a lot more trustworthy."
"It made me a better person and now I pray a lot more."
"He has drawn me closer to God and I have gotten more friends that are kinder."
The following are quotes from some of the parents of our girls in Girls Gathering.
"My daughter grew at Girls Gathering because of her friendships with the girls, the Bible topics you chose, having food they like, regular prayer for each other and for what's going on in each other's lives, but the most important factor, I think is seeing other women (not relatives) following God, and having these women care about her."
"My daughter was able to bond with girls her age."
"I am thrilled that my daughter is part of a small group of Christian girls. She looks forward to going to GG every Thursday and seeing her friends."
"I know that in GG they have been studying James and talking about listening, taming the tongue and patience. I can see my daughter putting into practice the Christ-like characteristics she is learning about. It is a joy to watch her growing from a little girl into a Godly young woman!"
"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." James 1:5
