Sunday at TCC
Preaching This Sunday
TCC’s Youth Director, Doug Bunn, will preach again this Sunday. His message will be “Honor the King by Doing What He Says”, based on Matthew 28:16-20.
Sadie and Olivia King will be bringing the “Good News Mystery Box” this week. Perhaps they will have something to stump Pastor Lou with…
51 Strings: a Harp and Cello Duo to perform at TCC on Sunday
Hannah and Jake Muzzy, missionary Paul Bendele’s daughter and son-in-law, will take part in this Sunday’s worship service as well as performing a mini-concert in Phillips Hall during coffee hour. The harp and cello duo,
51 Strings, was formed in 2005 to combine the musical artistry of Jake Muzzy (Cello) and Hannah Muzzy (Harp). They have been touring and performing at various churches throughout the country as well as overseas. At each concert, Jake and Hannah use their music to speak about the lordship of Jesus Christ in their lives. Invite family and friends to join us for a lovely performance! For more information, please visit their website,
www.51strings.com.
Adult Ministries
Saturday Morning Men's Bible Study - 8:00 - 9:30A
We welcome all men at 8:00A every Saturday in Phillips Hall for a hearty breakfast followed by a lively hour-long Bible study with open discussion and practical application. We are flexible, so if it’s more convenient, feel free to join a few of our regular participants who skip the breakfast and arrive at 8:30 for the Bible study segment. Knowledge of the Bible is not required, and you won’t be called upon. For more information, contact Ernie Bauder at
BauderE@aol.com or 978-443-2857.
Women's Bible Study (formerly TWIGS), begins September 23rd.

During the summer, our youth will meet at Bradford for about 25 minutes (9:00-9:25) prior to walking over as a group to the main service. Please encourage your child to sit with family or friends in the sanctuary for the service.
Last Scheduled Pool Day, August 4th
The last “Summer Pool Day” at the Antonell’s home will be on August 4. Middle schoolers are invited from 2-4P and High schoolers from 5-7P. Call Doug at 757-871-0663 for more information.
Children’s Ministry
K-5 LTA Summer Mission Project – Can you please help us reach our Goal?
So far we have collected 24 backpacks for The Boston Project Ministries and neighborhood children in Dorchester. Our goal is to have 50 by Aug 30th. Please pass the word to your friends and neighbors. We are looking for gently used backpack donations as well as new school supplies...especially pencils, pens, colored pencils, washable markers, and notebooks. There is a collection box located near the Children’s Ministry desk.

Announcements
Missing Coffee Pots
There are a couple of “Mr Coffee” type coffee makers missing. They are usually kept in the upstairs conference rooms. Does anyone know what happened to them or where they might now be? Please call the office and let us know. Thanks!
Food Pantry Needs
Supplies are low in our Food Pantry, and we need your help! The Food Pantry was designed to meet the needs of any TCC family needing a little extra help. This is a relatively new ministry at TCC and is managed by our 4th and 5th grade girls aka: “Girls Gathering.”
Our current needs include:
Snack Foods
Almonds
Juices
Dried fruits (raisins, cran-raisins, etc).
Please leave your donations in the collection box at the CM desk. Thank you for your help!
Men’s Basketball now on Tuesday nights
The gym is open on Tuesday nights from 7-9P for men’s pick-up basketball. Everyone is welcome. For more information, call John Bohall at 508-728-8014.
The Church Directory now available as a PDF
This file can be stored on your computer. We’d be happy to email it to you upon request. The TCC directory will not be posted on our website! Please remember that the information contained in the directory is private and for church use only.
