Music and Worship

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD;
   let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
   and extol him with music and song.
                                                            - Psalm 95:1-2

         Psalm 95, known as the Venite, shows that one tenant of biblical worship, and therefore one essential to the worshipping life at Trinitarian Congregational Church, is the adoration of God through music. Through congregational singing, instrumental offerings, choral presentations, and other mediums, our music points people to the realities of the Gospel that cannot be expressed through words alone. As a suburban church in the MetroWest area, we draw from the many gifts in our congregation. For this reason our worship draws from the vast repertoire of hymnody as well as the contemporary trends of praise and worship music. For more on this and other aspects of worship at TCC, see our theology of worship from Fall 2011.
